Moving on, I suppose I shall pick up from well..When I was picked up. When poor Phil came to pick me up he was severely stressed from the above mentioned incident. I was quickly informed as to last few hours and I was truly shocked and disappointed concerning the actions of certain people. I suppose this was one of those times where my faith in the human race sunk a little. Perhaps it's the psych student in me, but I was only left with more questions as to why people can act in such careless ways.
While in the car we sorta debated whether we should just get a bite to eat or go join the group to watch a movie. I chose a movie because I thought it would be fairly harmless and might lift his spirits. We got to Nishant's house early and had to wait until they came back from the store. Phil ever so kindly tutored me on black holes, dwarf stars and our universe.
Finally the boys came back with "Becool". Of course we didn't watch the movie until an hour later due to some unprecedented venting which at times had us all crying with laughter. The movie wasn't too bad, I had forgotten what it's like to watch movies with guys. Girls sit there quietly while boys hoot, holler, and jump up during the exciting moments. If anything it made quite the fun atmosphere. I sat on Phil most of the time, but I kept having to do a skirt check since I fell into some awkward positions. (Phil's arm had this permanent mark on it a while after since it had been wedged into the chair for an hour.)
When the movie was over Nishant and Dan went and played ping pong, Phil tried to sleep and Dave and Neil did some more animated and comical venting. I think we all gathered together again, and they talked about some more funny subjects which I don't want to repeat since some of them were quite embarrassing(*cough* mother's bed say what??)
Eventually we decided to all go home around 3 am. When I got home I found myself added to a convo with the knights and we discussed a new development that had reared it's ugly head. This of course took two hours. Realizing it was 5 in the morning, and that I had to get up at 7:30 (screwed) I signed off and went to the land of dreams.
I was woken by my mom at 8:10 the next morning seeming like there was a hurry, I packed, got dressed and ran down the stairs by 8:13 only to find she was "almost" ready to go but she was talking on msn with my aunt or something. Like 8:45 we leave for the cottage to try and beat the family friends who were coming to visit. I could barely stay awake, but finally around 4pm I just passed out and had many naps until 6. The rest is boring so I'll stop here.
I would just like to say I am proud to have the pleasure of knowing the nobel knights of Ottawa and that they all deserve good karma in their futures. (Perhaps more Phil and Andrew for going above the call of duty) Hope you guys enjoy the long weekend!
