Oh what a crazy few days. Yesterday was a little "hectic" as some may politely say. There was the Chinese restaurant scene from hell, however I shall remain silent on this matter since it is mostly between other parties and some would rather just repress that entire episode. But I must mention that, (after jacking the power from the queen) I have dubbed the group of boys from yesterday, official knights for their tremendous showing of chivalry and patience.

Moving on, I suppose I shall pick up from well..When I was picked up. When poor Phil came to pick me up he was severely stressed from the above mentioned incident. I was quickly informed as to last few hours and I was truly shocked and disappointed concerning the actions of certain people. I suppose this was one of those times where my faith in the human race sunk a little. Perhaps it's the psych student in me, but I was only left with more questions as to why people can act in such careless ways.

While in the car we sorta debated whether we should just get a bite to eat or go join the group to watch a movie. I chose a movie because I thought it would be fairly harmless and might lift his spirits. We got to Nishant's house early and had to wait until they came back from the store. Phil ever so kindly tutored me on black holes, dwarf stars and our universe.

Finally the boys came back with "Becool". Of course we didn't watch the movie until an hour later due to some unprecedented venting which at times had us all crying with laughter. The movie wasn't too bad, I had forgotten what it's like to watch movies with guys. Girls sit there quietly while boys hoot, holler, and jump up during the exciting moments. If anything it made quite the fun atmosphere. I sat on Phil most of the time, but I kept having to do a skirt check since I fell into some awkward positions. (Phil's arm had this permanent mark on it a while after since it had been wedged into the chair for an hour.)

When the movie was over Nishant and Dan went and played ping pong, Phil tried to sleep and Dave and Neil did some more animated and comical venting. I think we all gathered together again, and they talked about some more funny subjects which I don't want to repeat since some of them were quite embarrassing(*cough* mother's bed say what??)

Eventually we decided to all go home around 3 am. When I got home I found myself added to a convo with the knights and we discussed a new development that had reared it's ugly head. This of course took two hours. Realizing it was 5 in the morning, and that I had to get up at 7:30 (screwed) I signed off and went to the land of dreams.

I was woken by my mom at 8:10 the next morning seeming like there was a hurry, I packed, got dressed and ran down the stairs by 8:13 only to find she was "almost" ready to go but she was talking on msn with my aunt or something. Like 8:45 we leave for the cottage to try and beat the family friends who were coming to visit. I could barely stay awake, but finally around 4pm I just passed out and had many naps until 6. The rest is boring so I'll stop here.

I would just like to say I am proud to have the pleasure of knowing the nobel knights of Ottawa and that they all deserve good karma in their futures. (Perhaps more Phil and Andrew for going above the call of duty) Hope you guys enjoy the long weekend!

Ah la la okay so perhaps I started yesterday with a few problems, but most of them got ironed out. I did indeed go biking and I didn't get wet from puddles since most of them had dried by the time we hit the trails. It tried to make a feeble attempt at raining off and on, but it was nothing too serious. We pretty much biked for like 4 hours, went near Carleton, then up along the canal, and a bit downtown, it's a nice little trail. Stopped off at Kavya's house which just happens to be the cutest ever! We hung out, talked to a ferret and listened to india's national anthem (eventually, lol). Was a little scared I wouldn't be able to make it home from carling, but as it turns out it's pretty easy.

Just about died when I came home, but of course after a quick nap, I went and did a little shopping to get a highlighting kit for my hair. Other than that nothing exciting has happened. I haven't exactly slept too well since I moved my bed. Apparently it's hard to break a ten year habit, so everything is offsetting. Hopefully I will get some better sleep tonight.

Right now I'm just waiting for phil to pick me up so we can go rent star wars (the first one) because he seems to be appalled at the fact that I've never really seen the entire series...or any of the series for that matter. But to give myself a break, I'm a star trek fan, and there is an unwritten rule where star trek fans cannot be star wars fans, or horrible and evil things will happen. So don't sue me because I haven't seen any of the classics!

K, that's about it

Enjoy the weather we are having!!

GAAA, why??? I swear to god it's only 9:30 and my day has been shattered! I first wake up to the sound of rain, I think what's that? It couldn't possibly be rain because I specifically checked the weather last night so I could plan my day. Cloudy, high 21 it said, but noooo, it lied! So now I have a biking trip planned, and even if it's not raining my backside is going to get soaked from all the puddles! Curses I swear under my breath.

I go downstairs to watch Regis and Kelly for some mindless entertainment feeling lucky that I got up early enough to watch, but wait, Kelly has been replaced by so horrible singer person who doesn't shut up and so I am forced to actually turn the tv off. I suppose these things aren't too bad.

Then the dentist phones. Oh I have an appointment this friday do I? Greeeat. Who hasn't been flossing regularly? Me of course. Usually I have more notice and do the two week floss every two minute trick and it sometimes fools them. I don't have a chance now, I'll get the lecture. Actually I've found a way to bypass their typical question of how often do you floss? I've just started saying "not often enough" which seems to get no further lecturing about the dire need for better dental hygiene.

So of course this has all occurred at once, then I look out the window. Wait a minute where did the van go? Crap. Apparently today is the day we decided to get our air conditioning fixed. Another plan out the window.

And just minutes ago my mother suddenly declares that she is going up to the cottage a day early so her friend and her fat annoying kids can go there for the day. Since I don't want to go up there early, or entertain the Godzilla children (they are my age), I'll have to stay behind until thursday, which I am none too pleased.

So this is what has happened all before 9:30. And yet I truly fear since the day is still so young what else could possibly happen. Perhaps I can be hit by a car while biking, or maybe choke to death on a muffin, really the possibilities are endless. I just have one last thing to say...

I am never getting up early again!

Son of a witch. I wrote this whole long blog and then I hit a bloody button and *poof* it disappeared. Well now I am in just a foul mood! I'll do a quick recap;

1) I'm alive
2) Been having fun with phil, though I smacked him in the jaw accidently (blame sugary ice cream)
3) At cottage bad time water skiing
4) Finished harry potter, disliked it
5)
Visit link of the week. Especially the one about "duff" (middle of page, control + F + "duff" if you are lazy). Oh Neary how we need more members in the Hillary Duff anti-fan club!

Well I am still outraged at this stupid blog going to the land of half written internet documents!

Jerry: The bump into. The bump into always leads to the backslide.
Elaine: David and I will not be getting back together.
Jerry: Elaine, breaking up is like knocking over a Coke machine. You can't do it in one push, you got to rock it back and fourth a few times and then it goes over.
Elaine: That's beautiful.

If anyone has been following this week's comics in the Ottawa Citizen, you may have noticed that the comic "Zits" written by Jerry Scott and Jim Borgman, has been running a series concerning Jeremy who has badly burnt his back after falling asleep in the sun. It's reminded me of recent events so I thought I'd post them for your enjoyment.

Hey my guestbook is back up! Time for us to sign it again neary!
Yes, as I woke up this morning, I noticed my stomach was a little sensitive. When I lifted up my shirt I noticed this big kinda oval shape in nice crimson red. Apparently when I went outside and read yesterday, exposing my stomach, it burnt!! I'm also afraid I burnt my shoulders a bit...i swear phil I was being careful!

I hate hypocrites.
When I was born, my parents did not know. I was a fleeting thought, that they let slip by. I must be invisible I came to imagine. I am a ghost that walks amongst the shadows, seldom seen but always felt. People claim to have caught a glimpse, yet never do they say hello. They can walk right through me, blinded by greedy self-worth and never be any wiser. "Open your eyes!" I would often shout, yet they could not see me and became only more fearful of the world around them. I suppose I must accept my fate. I am indeed invisible. I am a ghost.

yo and hello my dear chums!

I must say I had quite the fun day yesterday. I successfully kidnapped neary and brought her back to my place. However, neary did not come alone, she was accompanied by two large garbage bags full of mystery! Her "official" reasoning was that they were filled with something she was going to finish for her brother's friend while she was at my house...yeah I didn't believe it either. So we get home and Neary needed to find a place for her...er..."project". We go to my room and KABLAMMO! Like 20 balloons come flying my way! Oh but they weren't ordinary balloons they had awesome inspirational tips and everything! (Even how to ward off smelly boys!) They were great, can't remember anyone ever doing anything so nice! So that's why I claim neary has got to be the best friend a person can have! hehe

Oh and then we went and made some chocolate chip cookies. Apparently neary had never heard of ingredients such as flour, brown sugar, shortening, and so on. She also seemed to think I was Martha Stuart because I had measuring cups...oh neary I have so much to teach. And for christmas I'll get you some! ...and some pans and a spatula for sure! hehe, next time we should bake a cake or something and you can make me cambodian food!

haha I just remembered! last night I turned on my fan because my room was hot (this was in the middle of the night) and suddenly there was this sound and balloons started going everywhere! It was funny...and yet terrifying. lol, I wonder if today will be as exciting!

I must say yesterday I got so much done! I'm not sure what I ate but I was full of beans! Of course it may have been caused by the surge of adrenaline I got from driving back from the airport at speeds I've only hit about twice in my life.

Either way I came home, cleaned the house for three hours, mowed my neighbours lawns, met gross letch man, came back in and made like this big veggie platter for no particular reason, got in some exercise, made plans with neary, I couldn't stop!

Also I got my quarterly tax-free government check for 56$ yesterday. I love getting 200$ a year from our government for doing nothing! Okay, I'm not special, everyone my age can get it, most just don't know about it, like the 100$ you can get for doing something...neary did you ever look into that? I can ask my dad I think you just have to start filing for taxes.

So yes, today I plan to go kidnap neary, bring her back to my secret lair where we'll bake some cookies and maybe take in a dvd, MUAHAHA, but seriously no more scheming. The last time we did that, it went so bad I'm not sure the emotional scars will ever heal! NEVER AGAIN, screw trying to surprise people, it is really not worth the effort at all!

No no, I won't let awful memories ruin this beautiful day! The weather is great, cookies are on the way and I couldn't ask for anything more. lol, I'm on the verge of giddiness!

Damnit I need break. I'm being slowly drained of all I have tried to build back up over the past months. I don't have much more to give people, I'm running on fumes! I can't do this much longer...
Neary, you should never try and lie to your parents...especially about non-existent people. Oh well lesson learned. Hey I posted another guestbook finally, I'm hoping it doesn't spontaneously explode like the last few, just thought you'd like to be the first to know since you and I are always last in the information chain!

If any of you wonder who I am talking about when I say I come home to a house filled with boys, these would be them (not a looker in the bunch!). They are usually covered in bad cologne which mixes to fill my house with horrible and unimaginable smells.

Canada Day

Alright, Neary and I shall never scheme ever again! You'd think we might learn that all our plans usually turn to disaster, but no. (hehe, oh neary) Anyways I shall describe yesterday's fun day(it becomes short form writing as as continue). See I wasn't actually at my cottage (yes I pulled off a lie!) but, I secretly stayed in Ottawa to surprise Phil. I'll start at the bus stop at Rideau.

We (Casey, Neary, Andrea and myself) got there fairly early and needed to wait for Sophea. The problem was we were right in front of the bus terminal so everyone who got off a bus would walk past us (we met most of our group this way actually). Now this is not a good thing when you are trying to surprise someone, and I kept trying to get my point across to the group that we needed to move...but as usual most people seemed to not hear katie, lol.

So I was keeping quite the eye on the doors, and of course there comes phil strolling along. This prompts me to say "OH SHIT NEARY COME WITH ME!" and I did the hundred meter dash through the bra and shoe department of sears, trying desperately not to be seen. Though the funny thing I found out later was that no one actually heard me say anything or leave for that matter, except neary who apparently just saw a flash of red and I was gone. So well hidden in the men's clothing department now, I decide to maybe turn around. Luckily neary had been tailing me. We decided to call Casey to see if Phil is out there and if he saw me. When we finally reach Casey she informs us that he failed the see anyone and looked rather angry. So neary and I re-emerge from the underwear area with sheepish grins on our faces, while the others look on with confusion. After some explaining we headed down to chapters.

As we approached it I became a nervous blabbing wreck, and we all decided to sorta sneak around the corner but no one was there. Of course at that point I turn to my right and whoops there's phil leaning against a window two feet away from me. Again he somehow managed to miss me but this time when I ran, I ran indoors to meet him. And golly he looked surprised...not. Now this was possibly because stupid peter had just said he saw me outside, but even so phil barely even had a look a bewilderment. He was his normal calm cool self, and damnit if I didn't want him to jump up and down like an overweight women who has just won a car on the price is right. So he may or may not have been happy to see me, it was a little hard to tell.

Anyways once we get our group the slow disaster starts to present itself. When you have 15 or so individuals and poor mina trying to get their attention you go no where fast. Now I really don't want to describe the horrors of our group meetings throughout the day but they were very bad, and I shall now only refer to them as GMFH (group meetings from hell). So after the first GMFH we go to rideau. We get there, GMFH #2 and decide to split up...wait another GMFH...and so we're off no wait GMFH. Finally Phil and I escape. Return, another GMRH, what we need to find kanika? Another GMFH. Find Kanika, hungry anyone? God yes! GMFH...ten steps, GMFH....15 steps, wait lost someone GMFH. Hey let's go to Hooters it looks empty, oops guess it's not. GMFH GMFH GMFH. Pizza! that's it. GMFH. (At this point I was just trying to stay conscious.)

EVENTUALLY, we got some pizza ate it, and I woke up a bit. GMFH. We then went to the hill where we heard some loud bad bands...perhaps because the lead singer was hit by a car we're not sure. GMFH. two steps. GMFH. Need to go to other park. Find spot, sit down juggle, play with camera. Neary casey and andrea run off, never to be seen again.

Phone calls, more phone calls, lots of confusion, poor manisha is probably still looking for me. Find neary but she can't get through. Phil goes to rescue them, runs into french children. Comes back fireworks start, hmm can't see. RUN! Still blocked by tree but oh well we'll be home soon. Fireworks finish, try to get out- nightmare. Phil and I get stuck, finally break free, somewhere lose neary (who got a ride home! grr) Waited for buses an hour (nice company though) Very sleepy, meet scary rapiest guy on and off bus. Get home, house filled with dirty boys, go to bed, die.

That was my day. And neary, no scheming ever again!
